Dear Friends, I am happy to let you know that I have arrived in Ukraine safely. However I am grieved to tell you that I have come at a time of tragedy and great loss for the family of missionaries I will be working with. Early this morning the teenage daughter of the founders of WLF lost her life in a car accident. A semi had broken down on the road. It was difficult to see in the dark. The driver swerved to miss the truck but did not clear it. Please pray for the Skala Family and their community.
I will be staying in Kiev for a few days with a missionary family. It is a beautiful city with many people and many interesting sights, sounds, and smells. Thank you for your love and prayers, God Bless.

Sweetheart - you and the family are in my prayers. I am glad that you made it safely. God will work everything out according to His purpose. Not that you would but don't lose the faith sweetie. You are greatly missed already.
